I'd recommend checking out the tutorial Photoshop Tools Reference by RockstarVanity on DeviantArt. It's a quick but very informative guide about what the tools do on Photoshop.

If you want comprehensive videos on how to edit photos, I'd recommend checking out Phlearn's youtube channel because they go slow and try to make everything as simple as possible so that you can follow along as they teach.

And a little advice, learning Photoshop takes patience and with practice, you'll be a awesome Photoshopper in no time. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else at the moment.
I do not do re-up's since I am not truly active anymore.

If you open up the latest version of Photoshop, it has some great recommendations for possible basic tutorials for you to get started and familiarize yourself with the different tools. Also, nowadays photoshop/adobe has really made their software a lot more user friendly, so it's definitely a good time to learn more about photoshop! Also, if you ever wonder what a tool is while you're playing around, the software explains each individual tool if you just hover over the icon.

And for tutorials, depending on what you plan on using photoshop for (digital illustration, photo manipulation, etc), you can find very specific tutorials (skillshare, linkedin, youtube) on exactly what you would like to explore and learn! So, I just suggest just opening up the software and seeing the basic tutorials Adobe has already provided. Good luck, and have fun with it!

If you have a printer, I find it very helpful to have a little shortcut cheatsheet posted somewhere close (mine is on the wall to the left of my monitor). As most of the adobe programs have different shortcuts for the same functions, having a list of common shortcuts for each program will really help if you're using more than one adobe product.

A google search for "Adobe photoshop keyboard shortcuts" will give you plenty of examples, just be sure to articulate whether you are using a Mac or Windows for the Operating system you are using to access the software
