In contemporary I love Penny Reid and in HR I love Julia Quinn and Lisa Kleypas equally.

I will not pick up a book by Kristen Ashley

My (living) favourite author is Eloisa James. Her books are well written and I feel taken seriously as reader.
Whose books I cannot finish is Stefanie Laurens, style, plot, how she writes, I cannot like it.
Favourite dead author (can I make this distinction? I am doing it anyway ;-) is Georgette Heyer. Het books are deeply satisfying and also funny.

wow ...very hard question....i think it depends of the mood i'm in and genre......mm - sloane kennedy and jocelyn drake, contemporary - kristen ashley, vampire - d.b. reynolds and teresa gableman, mc - lila rose and jamie begley, mafia - cora reily and bethany-kris, books with darker themes - t.m. fraizer and keri lake ....and so on. i don't really have a favourite author, more like authors
