I love Lisa Kleypas, Nalini Singh, Linda Howard, ********* Hoyt, Courtney Milan, Julie James, Julie Anne Long, Ilona Andrews, Meljean Brook, etc. I like authors who subvert or re-invent genre expectations. Give those parameters, the old-timey authors like Danielle Steel, Judith McNaught etc are not for me. Sorry.
