    Default Essential Oils - Anxiety/Depression

Anyone out there had any success with essential oils able to help with anxiety/depression and have been able to get off medication?

Interesting post. I felt drawn to reply to this one but not quite sure why. I don't have a lot to say but I do I find that by using oils it does help to relax and release stress in more ways than one. I tend to use orange oil a lot in cooking, though. But when relaxing I tend to lean more towards lavender. Have you thought about using Bach flower remedies at all? Or Aromatherapy techniques? Might be of use to you. I used to use some of them when feeling worried. I would overthink things through and different scents and aromas do make me feel more relaxed than usual. Lately though, I've just been using bath salts of different flavored variety, this has actually helped bring calmness for me especially when i'm feeling extra stressed out. Food for thoughts, though.

I wish the scientific field would spend some time on essential oils. I think many do have true beneficial attributes beyond the placebo effect.

I have actually started using my smart phone for my health. I have a cousin who started me into Brain waves and frequency sounds. Since our bodies are made up of energy different pitches make you feel better and such. If you do a search for Sound healing in the apps or even for free in Youtube you will see even guided meditation and such. They have helped me So much for both depression and even aches and pains to sleeping soundly with out meds.
