there's a diet called the 5:2 diet. basically every week, there are two days where you eat only 500 calories (if you're a woman and 600 for a man). you can eat normal the rest of the week. i think its effective. i dont know anyone who hasnt lost weight through this method. give it a go

I've heard, the portion control is very good, you use small plates, bowls (like child plates?) so you can't put too much on them?

Have you guys ever tried adding squash into your daily diet? I read an article which wrote about the health benefits of squash ( https://wikihomenutrition.com/squash-health-benefits/ - Link here for those who are curious ). It mentioned squash as a potential way to prevent us from cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, etc. Because squash is not only low in fat but also rich in nutritions. On top of that, even vegan or vegetarian can eat squash too. It is very easy to find and very delicious. I'm madly in love with squash.

Hi guys, have any of you tried increasing your protein intake. I know it sounds cliche, but I did it because I could not break the 270 mark for years, but when I increased my protein intake over the carbs and fat I lost the weight. and the only exercise I did was walking, no heavy lifting, no regime or plan, just a protein shake in place of a meal or two and walking for at least an hour or more at least five times a week. Oh before I forget, none of that wasted calories, by that I mean those sodas and fruit drinks and milky coffees, just water, teas (not too sweet) and the occasional coffee without too much sugar or cream added.
