Both my kids were fully potty trained by the time they turned 2. I'd sit them on the pot as soon as they woke and whenever they went in the potty I'd give then a hand full of M&Ms.
Yes, I am not above bribing my kids!

They say a child is ready to be potty trained when they tell you their nappy if full or they take it off themselves when full, and when they tell you they have pooped eit.
Go with aboves advice bribery works wonders.

I found my little girl did it sooner than my 2 boys, but she was copying her cousin and wanted to do it - She was fully potty trained by 2. The 2 boys were endless star charts and the youngest got wise to a star every wee, it's amazing how many dribbles he could go for in a day lol. My eldest son was trained by 4 and youngest son was 3.
A small step stool.....a bowl of dry cheerios and you are ready to train a boy.......drop a few cheerios in toilet bowl...get him to stand on stool and try to aim and sink them.....make it a game and reward and praise him.......leave toilet seat up...cheerios nearby and before long he will be "sinking the bismarck" regularly........once he is master of the p.......the poo just seems easier!
My 3.5yo girl JUST figured out potty training within the past 3 weeks. We tried pushing her but, honestly, got lazy. She just decided one day she wanted undies and she was off. Yes a few accidents...but she's doing everything in the potty (her big sister didn't #2 in potty until she was 4 despite being pee trained before 3!!) and she's staying dry at night.
I love over bypassing the diaper aisle now...
This seems to be a struggle for my daughter whom now makes it look like a breeze with my son who was ready and maybe she's not but at this point I'll try anything if it will get her potty trained.
