You're definitely not alone. I'm 25 and I've always hated wearing heels even though I think they're pretty. It's not for everybody. It's okay to not be comfortable with them, don't feel bad about it.

Im 20 and have danced samba with heels every summer carneval in Sweden and to this day I still can't use heels for an entire night without pain! I guess when dancing all the endorphins are flowing and I don't feel the pain until after the show is done haha. But yeah I also recommend to begin with boots, 5 cm and if possible with a wide/thick heel, you know so you can learn to walk with a little bit of heel and how to balance your body so you don't walk down the street all swaying here and there.

I think many have the same problem too! I've started wearing heels in the sixth grade and I still can't get used to them! Even though I wear wedges, since they are supposed to be "easy", they are still difficult for me to walk in sometimes. For a few minutes I can handle them, but not for long periods of time! Actually just recently I wore them for almost 8 hours (it was a Halloween clubbing event) and I could barely walk after that night and the next day! Like they said, beauty is pain~

Depends on how comfortable they are? I cant go out of the home for work or formal occasions until I have a 2 inch heel under my foot. But I search through every shop in town until I find those which are comfortable. Now I have a few shops which keep the type of things I want and its easy

For me to walk in "chicken heels" (what my country calls it) I can only walk in them if I am on the balls of my feet. My heels never actually touches the ground. That is why I buy alot of wedges. I love high shoes but sadly my instep is not shaped for the sassy ones.

I don't wear often. I am tall and all my friends are short. They call me a tree when I stand beside them. And I am very clumsy. So only flats for me

Try Valentino Rockstuds with kitten heels, they are comfortable.

Naw, my daughter couldn't walk in high heels either. Wedges or spikes, she would constantly trip or stumble. Needless to say she gave up. I started when I was in High School (Junior) with clogs and wedges (1980) then I moved on to high heels. I have a very high arch and have worn them my whole life, until I was in an accident now it all flats. I hate them.

I love the look of high heels and like that they make me taller, since I'm short, but have never found the to be very comfortable.
