Hmm. The closest I've read is maybe The Taker series by Alma Katsu. I've heard The Original Sinners by Tiffany Reisz is a real dark series, but it's pretty heavy BDSM - not necessarily in the same vein as Dark Duet...

Similar type books:
From the thread:Not sure if these'd be called "romance" -- at least not in the traditional sense.
I haven't read that book, but here are some more darker types of stories. They have kidnapp, possible dub-con, and other themes:
Kitty Thomas - Comfort Food
Lydia Kelly - Screaming in Silence
C.J Roberts - The Dark Duet series
Kayla Stonor - Locked in Torture, Under By Duress, & Under By Treaty
Skye Warren - Dark Erotica series
Michelle D. Argyle - The Breakaway series
Kelli Maine - Give & Take series
Wodke Hawkinson - Betrayed
Bianca Sommerland - Deadly Captive series
Julia Sykes - Impossible series
& I know you didn't ask for MM, but here are a few that fit (kidnap, captive/slave, dub-con, etc) as well:
S.U. Pacat - Captive Prince series
J.C. Owens - Gaven series
Thom Lane - Tales of Amaranth series
Stormy Glenn - Slave Auction
Kari Gregg - Spoils of War series
Jeff Mann - Fog: A Novel of Desire and Reprisal
Rachel Haimowitz - Flesh Cartel series
Dark Romance

most of Kitty Thomas books are dark romances. "Comfort food" and "the last girl" have kidnapping themes

Also try the judgement books by denise hall

Killing Sarai, although the lover isn't the kidnapper, is a bit similar. Mexico setting, kidnapped and abused, bad ass hero etc. Beware it is a not a standalone and there is a sequel coming.
