my favorite is Lyndsay Sands books. Her books are witty and funny, keeps the reader laughing. Even though she mainly writes vampire romance novels.

Jennifer Ashley has some amazing books. I love Julie Garwood's old novels too.

Maya Banks & Julie Garwood DEFINITELY! Maya Banks books are more fun while Julie Garwood's books are extremely deep and stay with the reader long after you've finished the book! I love them both equally though.

There are more modern authors I like better,but I cut my teeth on my grandmother's Barbara Cartlands. I guess because they still remind me more of her, that I still think so fondly of the books.

Eloisa James are also great and Julia Quinn, Rachael Van Dyken, Charlotte Featherstone, Melissa Mayhue, Monica McCarthy, Mary wine, Paula Quinn...all i can think of the top of my head...oopps a few more..Brenda Joyce....Karen Moning. i love a good highlander or time travel or regency romance the best!
