Deodorize your sneakers

Sprinkle some baking soda in your old sneakers and shake them well. Let it stay for a few hours and you will find that the odor will have vanished!

My mother sewed baking soda into little cloth sacks when I was in basic. Odor eaters didn't work well enough and that way I could reuse the sacks each night.
