Anime for beginner

Heyy, i was wondering what anime would be a good one to watch for someone who hasn't watched one before. I've been wanting to watch some but don't know which one to watch. Thanks.

A real answer now. What kind of genre do you prefer and do you want to watch classics or newer series?

Since you seem to be a girl I recommend starting with the magical girl or school genre such as Sailor Moon (original), Cardcaptor Sakura. If you want school series then maybe K-On, Angel Beats or for a funny twist Ouran High School Host Club.

In my opinion, the only anime that matters is Naruto, lol; all others pale in comparison. My daughter absolutely loves Puella Magi Madoka Magica, although I haven't seen it myself. Another I'd recommend is Dororo. This one is only 1 season, 24 episodes; so it's a quick watch. Just finished watching the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, and enjoyed it.
