So far, the author who had never let me down IMO - Pamela Clare! Either Historical or Comtemp romances. She's tying ip lose ends and leaves me satisfied with every book.

I never could read Danielle Steele either. Her nickname "the Steele Butterfly" suits her IMO. My friend said she has basically the same plot in all her books - heroine meets and marries hero, loses him and finds love again.

My keeper shelves have Georgette Heyer, Roberta Gellis, Loretta Chase, Mary Balogh, JD Robb, Jo Goodman. Madeline Hunter and Amanda Scott on them. Mostly historicals. But recently a friend suggested Cherise Sinclair and Sophie Oak and I am enjoying them.

    I love J.D.ROBB for crime
    kristin Cashore for fantasy

did not finish - P.C.CAST - feel she's over rated, slightly creepy with the people her characters have a romance with and is constantly changing character POV

Love Kresley Cole and Shelly Laurenston, I don't miss a book of these authors.
