Slimming World diet
Hi! found this diet and thought it was interesting, have you heard of it? tell me what you think!
Slimming World’s WEIGHT LOSS PLAN
encourages you to swap high-fat foods for low-fat foods that are naturally filling. You choose your food from a list of low-fat foods they call "Free Foods"', such as fruit, vegetables, pasta, potatoes, rice, lean meat, fish and eggs, which you can eat in unlimited amounts. There’s no calorie counting, no foods are banned and you’re still allowed the occasional treat. You can get support from fellow slimmers at weekly group meetings and follow an exercise plan to become gradually more active. The plan is designed to help you lose about 1lb to 2lb a week.

I did this diet and lost 4st 7lbs in 6 months. The thing I like about this is you can still have pasta, rice and especially potatoes.Bread is restricted. The idea is always to eat 1/3 superfree at each meal (fruit, veg, salad). If you have a good consultant and group that are supportive, the results can be very good and if you mostly stick to maintainance plan weight stays off. It doesn't teach about calorie content/control but naturally your portion sizes decrease as the food you are eating keeps you fuller for longer.

I started this diet 3 years ago and have lost 6 stones and continue to keep it off. It is more of a lifestyle change than a diet as you are changing what you ate before to much more healthy options. Still having Carbs, chocolate and alcohol but cutting the oils n fats in your diet and limiting the amount of foods or treats that will sabotage your weightloss. Find a good group nearby which has a good supportive consultant and a good supportive group of people
