YES! This is it!!! Just checked my Mina Carter folder and voila, there was Knucles' story. Whew! I didn't want to kill the story for anyone else in my quest to get the name again, Thank you so much! I really appreciate your additional quick reply :-)

I was wondering if anyone knows the name of this book.

I read it several years ago. It was about a girl whose parents were killed when she was in high school. She had a stalker and he killed her family and cut her all over her body. She moves away and gets a new name. I think she is staying with family friends or something. She goes out with friends and there is a band playing. One of the guys from the band is interested in her.

They somehow end up in LA or something where the guy's brother lives. She finds out the band has some connection to her stalker and that the stalker told people about her and they thought she was his crazy ex-girlfriend or something. I think the guy from the band gets his house broken into and there is a fire or something.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it

I've read this book 8.9 years ago, and for the last couple of years I tried to find it again but without any luck, maybe somebody can help me.
It's about time travel ... the heroine is in a car, on her way to see her sister/brother that recently married and bought a house when she crashes and it's thrown back in time, before the American civil war and meets this guy and falls in love, and the guy realizes she's from the future when he sees her watch(it was digital or something like that) , they lived in the souths and because she knows about the war she tells him what is going to happen ... they bought the house that her sister/brother have on in the future and hides some letters and pictures in the floorboard ... the book ends when sister/brother finds the letters and the pictures
I'm a little fuzzy on all the details and if somebody could help me I would so appreciate it

Woman leaves her hometown under a cloud of humiliation after her fiance gets her best friend pregnant and they elope. Years later she returns, I think for her sisters wedding, her previous friend has died and her former fiance is once again interested in her.

Random facts I kind of remember:
-Former fiance and best friend had a daughter who I believe is of grade school age.
-Fiance was at least part american Indian with an Indian mother or grandmother who frequently watches his daughter.
-Fiance has become police chief/sheriff
-Former friend died in a car accident
-At the beginning of the book I believe the main characters were just out of high school or in college.

(I had a paper back of this and mislaid it half way through reading it.)

It sounds like Love Se-xy by Stormy Glenn. Except he is not the alpha but the beta.

Synopsis:
Logan Stone lives a lonely existence as the beta of his wolf clan. It's his job to protect his people and follow out the orders of his alpha.
