I'm sure everyone has these moment where you vividly remember the entire plot of a book but can't for the life of you remember the title or the author which makes re-reading said book somewhat impossible.

So let's help each other out to find that damned book.

My book has the plot where the heroine has a fever that just won't go down and her boss has to f*(k it out of her. And that's pretty much the entire plot. I know, its on the trashy and smutty side but I would really like to find it again.

I have one- it was a harlequin superromance about a girl that was being beaten by her father after her mother dies, she turns 18 and decides to treat herself she dresses in one of her mothers old dresses puts on her mothers make-up and goes to a bar where a drunk man buys her a drink gets her drunk and takes her home. She gets pregnant and the story is about her going to this man and how he takes care of her and protects her from her father. Of course they fall in love. I believe I read it in the late 80's and have no idea who wrote it.

Wow, I have no idea which book this could be, but have you tried asking at the Smartbitchestrashybooks website? They've got a whole section on finding the title of stories people have read before but can't remember the name of. Sometimes the plots that are described are just really weird, but in a good way, I guess, since it always makes me want to read the books just to see how whacked the stories could be.

Hi,

This was a mills and boon that i had borrowed from a friend about 5 years ago. The plot goes like this...

Hero is a sheikh, he has to find some huge diamond that belongs to the family. He has to steal some stuff from this thug who's trying to sabotage everything in his country. The heroine is the thug's secretary. The sheikh gets the papers and to protect the heroine, escapes with her to the french countryside. They fall in love along the way. That's pretty much the thing.

* I think it was part of a series of books.

I really need this book, so i would be grateful if anyone could give me the name.

I think mine was a Harlequin Presents Expecting book. The secretary gets pregnant by her boss, surprise surprise, and then finds out he doesn't want a comittment. I think she quits or takes a leave of absence and goes home to a wedding or some other type of party. She tells everyone she is engaged or married and that he's working. He shows up, catches on, and plays along. Of course they live happily ever after.
