    Default gladiator sandals...

are they still fashionable? I was looking the other day, I can't wear high heels anymore, and I wanted something other than a pair of thongs (Australian) so, flip flops? for all the us people?

Yep, that's pretty much what I see. If you don't mind spending a bit more for shoes. Try brands like J-41, merrell, b.o.c, clarks
I'm not sure you're looking for style or comfort but yeah check those brands out.

I'm in the southern US and have seen gladiator sandals of all kinds and materials this year. Skirts are the 'in' thing right now and they look great with them as well as shorts. I'm not really fan of the metallic ones but the leathers are really nice.

I have issues with wearing heals so normally I use flats or sandals. I guess fashion is allowing a bit more freedom now a days specially because people are using it as a statement. So i would say that if you feel comfortable and you pull them up you should totally wear them!

They are definitely still fashionable! But I see gladiator sandals more of a summer and spring thing. But for fall/winter I would go with boots! There are so many different styles, short cuff boots for fall and knee length booths for those winter days!
